Why do we bother with Ryanair?

5 stars for being cheap, after that forget it. The Ryanair experience is never going to get any better. Rude staff, terrible service and any opportunity to bend the rules to extort you of money and they are there. Unfortunately I do use Ryanair and every time I vow it will be my last. Please God, make me win the lottery so I will not have to use them again.


Changes make life difficult !

I have used HIFX (Halewood) since the year 2000 to pay for my property in Spain and to improve and maintain it over the years.
I have seen the company move from telephone based systems to the fully computerised affair that we see today. As my transfers became less frequent I have found myself locked out of my account on 2 occasions because "my account was classed as dormant" On both occasions I have had to jump through hoops to get my account reinstated. Despite having all my contact information HIFX have never consulted me when they decide to close my account, which I think is very rude.

Thanks for taking the time to give us your feedback. It’s hugely appreciated.

As HiFX is authorised by the Financial Services Authority under the Payment Services Directive, we have an anti money laundering requirement to ensure that client account details are kept up to date.

We therefore close accounts if they’ve not been used for 18 months.

However, you’re not the first client to have given us this feedback and as a result, we’re extending the current 18 month limit to 4 years. In addition we’ll write to dormant account holders well in advance of the account being closed to ascertain whether or not they’d like their account to remain open.

Hopefully this will ensure the issues you experienced will not occur again in the future.
