Giffgaff sounds like it is a breath of fresh air in the mobile phone jungle. Having been savaged by Orange/EE I was hoping to find a reliable and customer friendly service - but so far so bad!
They were supposed to transfer my number but it did not go without a serious hitch so I cannot receive messages. I sent their "agent" two messages since you cannot phone them, it seems - and they promised to get back to me within 24 hours but so far I have had no response from them at all.
So my phone is in limbo - like all the other businesses in the mobile phone market they seem quick to take your cash but slow to provide any kind of customer service!
There may be a "community" of helpers out there (so they say) but I have yet to find any support for my service at all!
I have been using Vistaprint for many years to print cards, calendars and more... but recently I had cause to complain about and issue where they were charging more than they said.
I could not raise a complaint with them; they ignored emails; and their European staff who have rather poor English skills on the phone were just hopeless.
I tried to "escalate" my complaint but I suspect that the "customer services" staff get marked down for referring a complaint up the line - so they just will not do it despite saying that they will.
I will think VERY HARD before using them again!
