'HERMES' - taken from the Greek Messenger - perhaps my parcels are too heavy for him?

I have ordered from 3 different companies (New Look, Matalan and Asda) over the last 3 weeks, and all paid to have Next day Delivery, and am still waiting to receive my orders New Look and the items were ordered 3 weeks ago. Today, they tell me it is lost. Matalan tell me that the courier has left the company and will not be delivered until next week! Asda parcel did turn up today 5 days after it should have done. I have received refunds for my delivery charge, but this service is appalling and Hermes are liars. I did manage to speak to someone at their Customer Service department who advised me that the company had not sent the parcels (then the Asda one arrived the next day!) I will now be boycotting companies that use the,.
