One parcel. In it contains my 7 year old daughter's brand new dolls house furniture that was purchased to accompany her brand new dolls house for Christmas.
One parcel courier company. Working for them, a driver(s) that simply cannot do the job they're paid to do. Over 10 attempts to deliver, and tracking information claims that no one is home to sign for said parcel.
Okay, so I live in a low rise maisonette block and it's tricky to spot the intercom system for the main door from the road, but if my local spotty faced pizza delivery person can find it, and they often forget to bring my food, why do DPD drivers struggle so much?
A parcel that was ment to be delivered mid December? Arriving in January after complaints and bad reviews, and a recipient that has lost wages to stay home and wait in...now THAT's a shoddy company.
Many a time now I've turned to JustEat when life has thrown a curve ball; 29 days into a calendar month, and the cupboards are bare, and pay-day is imminent - not quite enough for a weekly shop, but just enough for dinner! Spent all day nursing a leaking child, and the last thing I want is to see the oven! Friends turn up at the door unannounced, and I've been houseworking (playing Skyrim) all day and look like something just shy of awful - and it's a quick bath or cook a Spag Bol, but no time for both! Fella home from work and once in a blue moon I'd just like to say, "Babe, let's spend some quality time on the sofa and let someone else worry about dinner...we deserve it!"
On days like that, I'm glad for JustEat; Sign in, pick a food style, choose a dish, pay and wait for someone else to do all the hard work! Because sometimes, just sometimes...it's nice to let someone else do the hard work. JustEat make the perfect middlemen!
