BT had been our nightmare for years before we finally moved where we could switch service providers. They started charging my husband out of nowhere, for an account that should have been closed 4 years earlier. We had a different address and a different phone number by then, and one day they just re-activated the old account and started charging us. When we finally realized this, we complained, but never got a refund, BT played dumb and pretended they "could not understand our problem". They tried blaming us for not closing the old account correctly. HOW could we have not closed it if BT gave us a new number??? The previous one had to be closed when we called them to report the new address and request a new number. Plus, if we hadn't closed the old account correctly, then why did thr payments for it stop for 4 years??? RIDICULOUS! BT are THIEVES!
