Great price and delivery service

Online search found to be joint lowest price, but delivery service clinched it. Option to choose delivery date, phone call day before (on Bank Hol) and early am arrival. If only all online shopping was this easy....

Low price, average product, poor delivery service, untrue ad claims

Shelving/workbench packaged c£10 less/same price as other companies online, but was swayed by 'industrial strength' claims. In fact shelving uprights are very flimsy/easily bent, the whole stucture has any strength only when fully assembled. Claims of '10 minutes per bay/only mallet neeed ' construction for the 175kg bays are wrong. As an experienced mechanic I expected no problems, but most tabs/slots did not align, needing a screwdriver to bend/open up the fitting. Even with practice I'd allow 30+ mins/bay.The 350kg workbench was fine. Delivery was a fiasco, after several failures at least Big Dug refunded the charges. Now installed the stuff is 'OK' - you get what you pay for.

I have looked at your order, I can see there were some issues with delivery. Next day delivery wasn’t paid for and we do advertise the lead time as 48 hours for delivery but we do try to get goods out as soon as possible. Originally the delivery was for the next day after ordering but this was delayed until the day after, you should have been informed of this delay so I do apologies for the inconvenience caused, we were not made aware of this issue. I can see we then re arranged delivery for a day most suitable for you and the delivery refunded as you mentioned.

Apologies that the shelving was difficult to put together and you had to open parts up to fit, this shouldn’t have been the case and we wouldn’t have expected you to have to use such force and bend items yourself so I do apologies for the inconvenience this has caused you. I will put this complaint on the system and update our product development team of the problems you have experienced.

The shelving does gain its strength when it is constructed and loaded, the shelving is tested to make sure it can take the weight loading we advertise but we can look into exchanging the shelving or collecting them for a refund.
