I placed the order for the Tivoli Bedstead - Double Black together with a mattress on Sunday, 30 September.
I paid for the delivery of these items and scheduled the delivery for 02 October. I received a tracking number for the mattress but not for the bed frame. By 15:30 on 02 October, I still haven't received either of the items so I contacted your customer service department. I was then informed that the mattress was delivered to the wrong Depot and delivery should take place the following day. As for the bed frame, the customer service agent phoned the supplier to which she was informed that the bed frame is out of stock and would only become available the third week in November!!
This is completely unacceptable and ridiculous business practice. I would never have placed the order in the first place if the item was only available a month and a half later. Not only were LeatherBedsWorld too happy to take my money for both items, they also took the postage for specific day delivery.
I requested for the order of the bed frame to be cancelled and refunded and when I enquired if would also be refunded for the bed frame postage I was told that this was not possible. Again, completely unacceptable business ethics, since I had to take a day of work to wait for these items, just for it not to be delivered, expected to wait for an item a full month and a half (this item should not even be displayed/advertised on the website if it is not available!) and then not being refunded postage.
I would not have done business with LeatherBedsWorld if I knew about its incompetent delivery of products and false advertising business ethics beforehand.
