Very disappointed

Purchased an LCD television online costing £168 06/12 which was £198 in-store..Paid £5.95 express delivery for it to be delivered on the Saturday 08/12..Got out of bed early Saturday morning for courier to deliver but need not have bothered because by 13hrs TV had not arrived ..Contacted Tesco direct by email received response immediately informing me of high volume of enquiries..
Then at 16.00hrs sent another email same response as the first time went to yodel tracking informing me of delay contact Tesco direct....
In a nutshell i posted 8 emails to tesco direct Saturday and Sunday and received the same standard auto reply.Never received the personal reply that they promised.TV was delivered 10/12 at 19.00hrs by a yodel courier the box was partially damaged which forced me to ask the courier had the TV been dropped he smirked a bit and said not by him but that it had already been handled by at least 10 people before him..
Anyway TV was fine except for a bit of light leaking through panel bottom of the screen but then what would one expect for such a cheap TV ..My reasons for buying this TV from Tesco is because my Sony LCD 26" which i bought from John Lewis 03/2010 at a cost of £399 developed a screen malfunction....
So my advice to those of you wanting to purchase LCD televisions is buy 2 because one of them is bound to malfunction within 18 months of purchase....


First impressions unreliable

My television stopped working Thursday 06/12 so paid a visit to my local Tesco extra and discovered the TV i wanted was £30 more than buying online so went back home to order online.
Chose express delivery at a cost of £5.95 which is reasonable as it stated would be delivered Saturday 08/12..
Woke up early expecting courier i need not have bothered because by 13.00hrs the TV had not arrived and the yodel tracking was informing me to contact sender which was Tesco.
I emailed Tesco direct 4 times ..13.00hrs 14.30hrs 16.30hrs 20.00hrs and just received the standard responses about large number of enquiries..
I have been visited the yodel site associated with my unique tracking number and it informs me there has been a delay and to check tracking tomorrow ...I feel very let down by yodel and Tesco and i have no TV.....


Not to be trusted

You are not to be trusted i submitted an honest review about direct sight and when attempting to edit what should happen WHOOPS SOMETHING WENT WRONG..........

Bad experience Never again...........

Placed order 28/07/2012 I am still in the process of waiting for my refund from directsight..14 days after placing order was informed they did not have the frames i wanted so i continued to wait and wait and wait ...When they finally arrived i could not read out of them they managed to botch my prescription so i had to return the glasses.
They took 30 days to make and post my glasses and now they are making me wait before they return the £124.00 back to me.
Never again will i go to these people they take your money and deliver an appalling servce and capitalise on your money before giving it back to you... My Directsight Order No : DS-134350460254230..
This company needs to be investigated into why they take so long into refunding the customer with whom they have failed......
They do not deserve any stars from me, this is an honest review of my transaction with this company..
Got my refund 22/10/2012 after lots of emailing ...Never will use online opticians....
