I had bought an Acer before and was very happy with it so when I needed another one I carried out some homework on the net and came up with Simply Acer. I paid Saturday delivery charge and they were true to thier word, it came on time and they txt my phone to tell me a time of arrival within one hour... Brill. I unpacked it and on powering it up found a dead or stuck pixel. Not what you would expect from Acer or Simply Acer. Also out of a 500gb drive there was only 411gb space left. I phoned the returnes dept and they told me that I could send it back for testing but if no foult was found I would have to pay for the testing and postage and the dead or stuck pixel wasnt counted as a fault. Well for fear of being charged and still getting a laptop back with a duff pixel I didnt send it back. Firstly they should make it very clear that almost 1/5th of the hard drive you are getting would be taken up by programmes and backup and also make very very clear that your screen could have one or more faults on it. I know now that if you pay £39 they will check it for the pixels and install anything else you have bought but surley they should check things like the screen is working 100% before sending out. Not very happy after spending £600 on a dead or stuck pixel....
