Buying tyres made easy....from selection to fitting.
My particular car requires 15" front and 16" rear tyres - with different width & profiles too so finding a matching set of four isn't easy. I wanted a particular make after researching the subject, however, most suppliers could only offer one option....Bridgestone's at anywhere between £450-500. I called the 0845 number to be greeted by a knowledgable and very helpful gentleman who was 'on top' of his game. We finally found an alternative for the rear wheels that meant I got the brand I wanted (Toyo) and a price of £325 verses previous quotes. The tyres look great on the roadster and were fitted locally by a very efficient garage. A good experience from my first 'search' to the final fit! Shaun.

"Better than silk"....not in this case:
I purchased two pairs of Better than Silk Sock Liners (Brasher) size 5 -7.5 which upon arrival, very promptly I hasten to add, turned out to be size 3-5 - I rang for advise and was asked to return them as per the instructions "need to return something" on the invoice. I pointed out the code on line for these socks were the same for all sizes? An opology was offered due to the error being made by e-outdoors. I returned the package the same day but it appears wasn't received at the returns address in Daventry. I am now searching high and low for my postage receipt with the tracking ref but as yet to no avail - my fault for misplacing it. Over all not a great shopping experience as due to the original error it appears I am now going to be paying twice for the same thing! Kicking myself for not keeping my receipt safe!
After contacting e-Outdoors for a final time a decission was made to replace the incorrect item with the correct one as the matter was referred to a senior person. All's well that ends well but what an exhaustive experience to get some sock liners!
