The Wrong Bike!
I was initially very impressed with Merlin Cycles. I received an immediate acknowledgement of my purchase and another email soon after to say the bike had been despatched. It arrived a day after the notification - what a good service, I thought, until I opened the package and realised the wrong bike had been sent. On contacting the company, I was told the bike that had been delivered (which should have been sent to a customer in Wales) would be collected the following working day (Monday) and my bike would be stopped in transit and redirected to me. Monday came and went.....Tuesday, Wednesday....no collection of the bike and no contact from the company to explain the delay.
I contacted them again on Wednesday and was informed my bike would be delivered tomorrow and the other bike would also be collected tomorrow. I hope I am not disappointed and now eagerly await delivery! I don't recall any apologies being offered in my telephone call this morning.
