New regulations regarding the manufacture and supply of Herbal medicines came in to force in the Spring of 2011- meaning that certain products (such as Devil's Claw, Milk Thistle, Echinacea) could only be prepared and sold in a certain way in line with the Traditional Herbal Registration (THR) guidelines. Bringing our herbal range in line with this legislation carries significant costs. We appreciate that these costs are higher then previously and that formulations/quantities are different- but these are both unavoidable consequences of compliance with the THR regulations.
