We have bought travel insurance as a "couple" for two years now and the package is just what we need i.e. full cover for all eventualities and with a golf package for "one". In addition we are to take our three year old grand-daughter away for a few days to Europe and rather than place her on our "full" year insurance we could buy an individual travel insurance just for the few days away for her. Other insurance companies you have to buy an "adult and child" package, they wont let you buy for under 16 year old alone, so Essential Travel was ideal
