The single flaw.

I'm giving the full five star rating because the service was exceptional and my fiancée was thrilled with the ring but I almost went elsewhere because they seemed to have the shortest returns windows of any of the sites I'd visited.

Seven days would be fine for just about any product but with an engagement ring when it's needed for a specific date and your opinion is going to be at best secondary in importance I would have preferred longer to have had the option to return it.

I would consider having the ring delivered the week of the proposal to be cutting it fine, you're relying on everything going perfectly. Due to a delay at customs my dispatch date was put back a week and I had to send it back for a small modification but I'd allowed plenty of time for just those sorts of reasons.

Perhaps you can arrange with them to be given more time but just going with what it states on the site it certainly felt like I was gambling it all on her liking it. Just having a fortnight instead would have made all the difference.

Jonathon is right and consequently our stated returns period has been increased to 30 days. It’s true DiamondGeezer.com have never been pedantic about the returns period and have always fitted in with customer’s plans but better to open the ‘window’ and make it obvious. From October we extend the returns period until the New Year so that Christmas plans can be met.

DiamondGeezer.com firmly believes that a customer is for life not just for Christmas.
