Took three days to deliver the parcel.
Tracking information kept showing that parcel was going to be delivered that day. Spoke to customer service who promised that item would be delivered that day, needless to say no show.
Rasied a complaint here is the reply -

I am sorry that your parcel did not arrive at the time you expected. I do understand how inconvenient and frustrating it is to wait for a delivery that is delayed.
We take great pride in always delivering to our customers on time, and this type of incident is rare. I am disappointed that on this particular day we did not give you an excellent service. However, I am pleased to see that your item has now been delivered to you.
When something like this happens, our managers look at the events so that we can iron out any issues. I am confident that you will not have a similar experience if you choose to use City Link again in the future.

Customer service were as useless as the delivery end of City-Link.
Quite quick to resorting to "you our not our customer, the person that sent the parcel is" line
I will not be using City-link ever again and will refuse to do business with anyone that uses them. I also understand that they are part of Rentokill so will not be using Rentokill services and products, so bad is my distain of City-link

I don't normally do reviews but on this occasion I feel obliged to do so.
Order three strimmer parts from Abbey Garden and items took 7 days from initial order to them being delivered by City-Link. The City-Link tracking data was wrong (City-Link have said that this data was added by Abbey Gardens) whoever at fault this resulted in me waiting in for three days for a delivery that never came despite the tracking info and Abbey Garden saying that it would. I paid an extra £17.50 for delivery which looking at the actual cost of posting the items with Royal Mail only costs approx £4.00.
When the goods were finally delivered, one item was missing and the other two were missing parts. I sent emails which were not replied to, so I view this as unacceptable.
I have spoken to person on the phone and in fairness was helpful and the replacement items were eventually delivered by Royal Mail. I have subsequently sent emails that again were not replied to. So overall not a good experience.
