Service could be improved!

Everything had been Excellent, Was told to expect delivery on a certain date which never came, called in to find out why ...and was told the order had not left their offices.

So why was I told to expect delivery on a certain date. the representative was rude and was not even apologetic for the mixup, a poor attitude I feel - could do with better customer services.
