Sent trainers to the wrong address

Ordered a pair of Asics trainers which never came, until I had to ring up customer services to order it who realized that it was sent to the wrong address - friendly service and refund offered promptly. But I would have liked to have my trainers!

Dear Bernice,

Thanks for your review, and I can completely understand your disappointment. We're so sorry something went wrong, we'd have loved to have got you your trainers!

To be perfectly honest, what happened with this order is currently a bit of a mystery to us because our manifest shows it was sent with the correct address and then next thing we know, it had been delivered to an utterly different address (and so far we haven't been able to contact the occupant to arrange to collect the shoes).

We're still trying to find out what exactly happened to the parcel after it left us but our courier's also struggling to provide satisfactory answers.

Once again, we can only offer our sincerest apologies for the fiasco, and at least hope that our reaction once we found out about the problem was acceptable.

Kind regards,

Dave

Just as everyone says, unacceptable service by the driver.

Got an email giving me a one-hour delivery window, waited at home the whole time and suddenly got an email saying that there was no one at home to receive the parcel! Totally unacceptable service, the driver did not even bother to press the buzzer of my flat or anything, seems as if he got to my door and just simple left. Called customer service and the caller on the other end was terribly rude, kept interrupting me and cutting me off, and giving excuses such as "Your intercom may not be working"... (rubbish, it's working fine), and eventually I got him to contact the driver (gave the driver the wrong details, sent him on a wild goose chase). Later in the day the driver contacted me and dropped off my order but not after a long period of conversation because of the wrong details given. Got my item but wasted an entire day waiting for my parcel, good grief. Will SPECIFICALLY opt out of their services from now on and you should too, for the sake of your blood pressure.

Hi Bernice,
I'm extremely sorry that the service you experienced wasn't up to scratch on this occasion. I'm glad that you eventually got your parcel. If you would like to discuss this matter further, please feel free to drop us an email to socialmedia@dpd.co.uk
Kind regards,
Bobby.
