I've been with O2 for 8 years and use them for my phone and internet. I think the service is outstanding. It is rare to find a large company that still genuinely cares about its customers. On the rare occasion I have an issue, it is resolved immediately in a very considerate way (most of the time its my mistake).
Bills always correct, signal is great, prices are reasonable to low but most of all their customer service is exactly what it says it is, a 'service for customers', something many companies have lost sight of.
Please keep up the good work O2. I think you are brilliant and actually enjoy calling your customer services.
I have never ever been so cheated and lied to as I have been at dreams. Never ever ever ever shope there. Trust me, its one of my poorest decisions of my life.
In a nutshell, I bought a bed in store. I was worried about the size of it but they assured me I could call up and change the order anytime before delivery. They even lent me a tape measure (how nice?).
So paid for the bed in full and arranged a delivery date. A few days later, I measured up the room and realised it was going to be too big. I called to change the order to one size down. Surely this wouldnt be an issue seeing as the delivery of the bed would be for another month? WRONG! They said they could do that but at a cost of 20% of the bed. I would also forgo the discount (6%) I recieved in store.
I'd been saving for a long time to get this bed which I wanted to last for the rest of my life, consequently it was their most expensive bed at over 2k. The 26% therfore adds up to over 500 quid.
So they expect me to pay over 500 pounds to change a smaller bed. It is in the T&Cs so there is nothing I can do about it other than pay or take delivery and sell the bed in the hope that I can sell at a price that doesnt cost me £500.
Their customer service department is terrible. Powerless, rude and liars. A manager has apparently called me back and a conversation with me three times! Haha! What? This is a lie. I have asked them to provide me with the recording of these supposed conversations.
They wont budge on the T&Cs and will charge me an extaustionate amount of money to get a smaller, cheaper bed. My only point of escalation is the CEO apparently. I will be in contact with Watchdog instead. This is completely out of order.
Reading these reviews I'm also terrified now of the delivery! What an appauling company. I'm amazed that a company of such size can be so incompetent, rude and unhelpful to its customers. Maybe I'm just naiive.
If there was a zero star rating I'd give that. One is far too generous.
