I ordered an item on Monday afternoon which I desperately needed by Friday. After emailing to explain the situation they reassured me that the item would be delivered by that date. I did not receive anything by Thursday and got a bit worried so emailed asking whether it had been despatched or not. Lanson were again quick to respond saying that it had been despatched and should have arrived on Wednesday. They automatically opened a query with royal mail to make sure of it and subsequently were in contact to make sure I had found the parcel. Their emails were professional but also friendly and I got the feeling they were doing what they could to ensure I was happy.
As for the product, I can't say much about it as it was for a friend and I don't know how they're getting on, but the delivery was excellent. I got text messages updating me as to when the parcel will be delivered and whether I wanted to change the day in case I would not be at home. I may be naive, but I haven't had that before and thought it was great!! No more worrying about where the hell your purchase is in the world. They even told me my friendly parcel delivery guy's name!!
