Unprofessional is what sums them up. I bought something I needed fast from Amazon, like I've done dozens of times before. Unfortunately, this time delivery was with Yodel.
In short: I expected the parcel on Saturday 13/10 and no one came, at least to my knowledge (no card left). On Monday, I got a card saying I missed the delivery, but time has not been filled in.... I immediately went online and rescheduled delivery for Monday 20/10 (today), but when I checked today online the parcel was (is) still on depot! I called and at first they couldn't trace the parcel. Then they told me that actually on two other days they had tried to come and noted there was ... 'no access to the property'! Meanwhile, the property is in a small cul-de-sac and you just walk to the door! No fences, no problems at all with the address or any of the previous couriers who have been delivering all along. Also, there was of course no problem with access on Monday when they left the card- so how come there was again a problem with access on the next day the tried and left nothing to warn me?!?
So, now I am waiting for them to call back, to see why it's still on depot instead of out for delivery, and indeed if they feel confident enough to deliver to the right address and not send the package back to Amazon (and yes I needed the one of the items urgently last week!). Appalling service!!!!
