I ordered all my units and furnitire from Victoria Plumb for our new batroom in February 2013. The order was for over £1200. I was sent a confirmation of order stating that only a bath waste was out of stock and I will be contacted regarding delivery as soon as it is in stock. I haven't heard from Victoria Plumb for the next week so I called them to find out that now the Arc Back to Wall Toilet was out of stock and they won't be able to deliver it until at least two weeks later. This meant a considerable delay in finishing our bathroom. I was told that they do not hold your order in stock despite the fact that they have charged me for the full order already. I was shocked by the way I was spoken to by Victoria Plumb customer service team. There were no apologies but accusations that it was my fault my order was being delayed. Their email said clearly only the waste was out of stock and I will be contacted when it is in stock and nothing was mentioned that they do not hold my order in stock and I should contact them asap to request delivery of whatever is in stock and then have the remaining items delivered separately. It was clearly a misinformation on their part which they have denied. I requested to speak to the management which I was told isn't possible but they can call me back if I email which I did but haven't heard anything back for over a month now. When I finally got my order I found out that the towel rail valves I ordered were the wrong type. When I called Victoria Plumb to ask for a replacement I was told poeple who will deliver my missing toilet won't be able to collect them and deliver the correct valves. It would cost me more to post the valves back to Victoria Plumb and pay extra delivery for the replacement ones so I just kept these and bought new ones locally and cheaper. I had better customer service from e-bay than from Victoria Plumb. All in all I wouldn't recommend using them to anyone who needs a timely delivery. I found the whole process very sterssful and frustrating and the way their Customer Service team spoke to me was just appaling. Management isn't respodnig to complaints either. Their 60% sale seems to be on since February despite their claims it would finish in a week's time (as the webiste said in Feb). I found other online shoips with the same products and prices and wish I went through them. Unfortunately, I had little choice as we needed to finish the bathroom on a tight schedule.
Tow of us went from Leeds Bradford to Magaluf, Majorca on 7/10/12 to14/10/12 and stayed at Samos Hotel. 100% satisfied with the booking process, information we received, flights, transfers, hotel quality and the destination. Everyhting went smoothly, we didn't have to worry about a single thing. The weather was still good enough to stay on the beach for the first 4 days, the last 3 days we spent discovering the island, sighseeing. The hotel was better than expected - clean, good food (we bought half board option), friendly staff, reasonably priced bar, good pool. Because it was end of season it wasn't loud and overcrowded we had almost a private beach you could have so much space. Very relaxing holiday altogether but still enough was going on not to get bored. Would deffinitely recommend! Thank you Jet2 and keep it up!
