So I was a bit skeptical about ordering an import because of the warranty not being valid, but after discovering DigitalRev supply their own I thought I would take the plunge. I ordered over a weekend period so expected some delay, but got the package on the Monday before 11am which was impressive seeing as it had come from Hong Kong and was free. You can track your goods via DHL's website too, helping those eager beavers out there, oh and no import charge either.
After unwrapping what seemed like an entire roll of bubble wrap (always useful to have) I found my lens box with not so much as a dent on a corner, obviously inside was my lens and we all lived happily ever after from then on!
This is the first time I've used Mr.Memory, however I can most assuredly say that I will look to use them again in the future. If only they did more components!
I've spent many an hour in the past checking through review after review, comparing benchmarks and prices of umpteen different website and pulling my hair out whilst trying to decide on which component to buy over another. I'll admit I was slightly skeptical about allowing someone else to make the decision for me and considering how low the price was, I wondered if I was going to get some cheapo RAM, however this was definitely not the case.
The product arrived in a customised grey bag with the Mr Memory logo on the front, inside of which was the invoice and a Jiffy bag containing my RAM modules. (Not once did I have to grab for a pair of scissors to get to my goodies!). After opening my laptop and removing my old sticks, I had absolutely no problem inserting the new ones. Powering up my machine it instantly recognised the new gear and after refreshing my Windows Experience score (which I only use as a rough benchmark, mind you) it's been boosted to 7.3 from its previous score of 5.9. Not bad at all for a 30 quid investment!
