city link broke my lava lamp

i won a lava lamp on ebay. i arranged for its collection through interparcel by citylink from the sellers house who had packed it very well and written in big letters on the box "fragile glass lava lamp". a week later i get to know that citylink has broken it and its in their depot. i have written to interparcel to tell them that either them or citylink owe me the insurance money of atleast £ 30. but they said its a resticted item and is not covered by insurance. then i said i should atleast get my £ 10 back for the price of the couriers since they havent done the job that i asked them to do at all. they said all they can do is give their sincere apologies. i give them a big huge ZERO in everything !! except for their quick responses in their emails.
