One item was refused for collection and a long delay caused because the Interparcel staff were unable to understand the simple wording of the item description and were unwilling to have basic English comprehension explained to them. On a second occasion an item was damaged and the insurance was refused due to the office staff's poor understanding of industrial packaging; the item was packed in the original manufacturer's packaging which is obviously their industry standard, but did not allow for the item to be dropped from a significant height. It is quite clear that the insurance cover is not worth taking out as they will make up difficulties to ensure no claim is successful, rather like Royal Mail!! On another occasion an item was not picked up and the booking was cancelled for no apparent reason and an extremely long delay occured due to poor office practice.
Why continue using this company? Well all companies these days seem to suffer from overworked, poorly trained (possibly poorly educated) staff. Was it better in the "good old days", probably not?!
