Why haven't my items been delivered?

I bought a rug from them last week. I got confirmation it would be delivered with parcel force within 24 hours a day after I bought it. I'm still waiting. I have contacted parcel force with the parcel number and they state it still with the sender. I contacted the rug company by email, the one they sent me at the begining of the week but no one has got back to and still no rug. Why are these things so difficult. I would just appreciate it if someone would let me know what is happening and when it will be delivered.

As stated in the listing you purchased from and in the email we sent you binding takes 7-10 days. We provided an exact delivery date of 26th October. No contact was made to us other than this review. Please contact us directly and we can provide full information on your order. This would be much more preferable than being left in the dark and then leaving an inaccurate feedback like that which has just been left.
