The Paris Pass

Question about the 2 day hop off and on

Is the Paris pass only for the metro, train and RER? Can we use the bus for four days if we buy the four day pass? And is the 2 day hop off and on just merely that tour but doesn't affect using the bus the other 4 days? I'm confused. Thank you
