I am a return customer - I started off with just a pillowslip to check the quality, then ordered a couple more. Then I went on to order a sheet, the Blossom duvet cover the mattress pad and a pair of PJs. So be very, very careful... this stuff is really addictive!! The quality is great - buy with confidence. All items have been delivered in the promised 3-4 days (to London). I plan to do more shopping when I can afford it!

Sorry - I don't usually interfere with other people's ratings... but to give a 2 star rating because you didn't read the description properly? It doesn't really say much for the education you speak of. "Cotton shell" is not really rocket science to understand...I ordered the mattress pad with the same description and it was perfectly clear to me that it would be filled with silk and covered in cotton. Even without "17 years of post graduate education" it seems pretty straight-forward to me.
Fast service. No quibble refund when the handles I ordered didn't match my units as I had imagined. Re-ordered something else and had it within 2 days. Second choice was perfect match for my units. Both sets of handles - ones I sent back and ones I kept - were superb quality.
I ordered a TV bed, the Vega, with a lead of 2-4 weeks. This suited me as I was doing DIY, so I wasn't in a hurry for the bed.
The online order process was easy (if only they'd get rid of that annoying 'person' image that follows you when you scroll and blots out the text you're trying to read!), and I had two follow up emails - the usual auto-generated order confirmation, and one from a real person (Chris) which was nice. I was never worried about things going badly as TV beds have too many good ratings here to be fake
The only issue I had with the whole process is that they couldn't tell me in advance when the bed would be delivered. Being in the middle of a project at work, my days were crazy busy and it was just not possible for me to tell my boss at the last minute that I needed time off to wait for the delivery. With all the meetings etc I needed at *least* a weeks notice to reschedule, and I felt TVbeds didn't fully grasp this concept. It was basically a case of: wait until the delivery people call (usually on a Monday) to confirm delivery for that week Wednesday (ie 2 days notice).
If you have a flexible schedule or don't work, then this won't be an issue for you, but I found it quite stressful not being able to plan time off properly. In fact, I rescheduled one meeting on the premise that delivery *might* take place that week, and in fact it didn't (so no-one was very impressed with me at work).
At the same time as ordering from TV Beds, I also ordered a desk/bed combo from Studybeds, with 5 weeks lead time. Within the week of ordering, I had a call giving me a choice of 3 delivery dates for the 5th week, and a full week before the delivery due date I received a written letter, no less, confirming the delivery date. So, I don't think it's unreasonable for a company to give you a delivery date more than 2 days in advance.
Okay, so that was my only issue, and that's why I dropped a star. Otherwise, Chris handled my ranting very well, the delivery team arrived at 7.30pm and made up the bed, and everything else went well.
Purchased the fan with retractable blades. Ordered online Friday, then had to phone to arrange Saturday delivery (this option is not available online). Was given a special code to use online which added the Sat delivery charge. Item arrived early on Sat morning.
