We purchased a sideboard, dining table and 4 chairs.
We where told all furniture would be made from the same batch and delivery would take from around 2 weeks. A couple of days after order placed we had call to say delivery on friday (6 days from placing order) so furniture obviously from stock.
Arrived when stated and delivered well packed (do not believe they deliver and you just put it in situ as the amount of packaging is huge). When we unpacked and checked furniture we found some rough edges on two chair cross woods also the inside of the sideboard was rough. We phoned in to the remedial service who said they would sort. About a week later we had a visit from what I thought was the polisher to rectify the rough wood, all he did was take photos. Over a week later no response, I phoned Oakland and they said should have been contacted in 48 hours. He then then said the independant Inspector had said there was no fault? when I asked then it is ok to have a rough interior to the unit that would collect dust they said yes, it is natural wood, when I asked then why do you not leave the chairs rough so you can pick up splinters as this would really be natural, no comment.
So the furniture looks good the salesman did not spell out the correct way it works, delivery good but back up service rubbish.
If you are happy with rough interiors as it is natural you will not be disappointed.
