ScS Sofas

Awful customer service never use again

This is without a doubt the worst company that I have had the misfortune to deal with.

We were missold the insurance on the sofa and when trying to claim were told we couldnt. The Stevenage store manager who sold it to us (who surprisingly is no longer there!) told us we "could have them out every week to clean it if we wanted to"

They got the order wrong delivering the wrong colour legs. 5 months later we are still waiting for the right legs. When phoning up the store we are told that the regional manager

"won't do anything to help you"

I will be going to Credit Card company and issuing a charge back because we havent been given what we ordered.

Yale door

Would never use Yale Door again to buy a door

The appalling customer service from Yale Door has made this one of the worst experiences of buying anything that I have ever had.

This is the type of message I had in the web chat

[Name] says:
I'm sorry you didn't understand the terms,

Yet the terms and conditions are agreed before an order is placed and even then she couldn't produce "the terms" I didn't understand.

A refund for the "speedy install" is still waiting 6 weeks after the order was paid. When I phoned up to ask about it I was spoken to by a rude gentleman who had no interest in helping me.

The door itself is good and was fitted well because that was done by an outside contractor.

Yaledoor.co.uk themselves I wouldn't deal with ever again. If my refund still doesn't come through I will take action through the Credit card companies and small claims court if need be.

Exceptional AV

Very good - Only 1 thing they could improve

Had a great experience with Exceptional, from the phone call when they talked me through the products to actually ordering it. System was considerably cheaper than anywhere else and order was placed about 4pm on a Friday.

Got the email to say the system had been ordered and on the web site it made it clear delivery would be next day (Monday I guessed since it was late Friday I placed the order).

The one thing that could be improved would be an email to say the system was shipped so I would have known 100% it was coming Monday and not on the Tuesday.

Would definitely use them again (if the Missus lets me!)
