Ordered a pair of Raybans after a lot of on line research. Smartbuy were a good price and lived up to most of their reviews, by communicating order progress and delivering a genuine Rayban product in good time. I'll use them again in the future. Recommended.
Best pay for a premium delivery service if you want your goods in a sensible timeframe - which negates their price benefit versus the High Street. I ordered perfume on 17/10 and am still waiting for it on 29/10. Their customer service response just fobs you off with having to wait up to 12 days before they can refund you. Sorry, but even Royal Mail deliver within a week from Channel Isles. I had to buy the perfume from Boots as it was a Birthday present. Very frustrating!
I ordered a sofa and footstool on 1/6 with a promised delivery within 8 weeks. Despite stock being allegedly available, and them taking over £1000 fom my account, I was told that my agreed delivery date would be delayed due to a lack of stock in the UK. Delivery was then made of the sofa only on 2/8 - 9 weeks. No advice as why the footstool wasn't delivered. A couple of phone calls to their useless Customer "Service" and I managed to sort delivery out for 4/9 - 13 weeks, but only because I chased it. Still waiting for a resolution to my customer complaint lodged on 29/8. Disgraceful. No wonder Home Retail Group is struggling. Don't bother
