I bought a code for Borderlands 2 on the 27th of September 2012. It arrived after 3 and a half hours but when I tried to enter the code into Steam, I got an error message saying that the code is invalid. I checked the code, and retried it multiple times, the code is definitely invalid.
I complained via the Intkeys website "contact us" section twice but received no response. I opened up a dispute via Paypal, explaining the problem again and they replied to that saying:
"Hello,Could you please contact us via the facebook msg system? We will be able to help you there very fast.Thank you."
So I contacted them on facebook explaining the situation for a 4th time. They asked for evidence, I provided screenshots of the error message and of my Steam library showing that the game was not there. They then replied with:
"Order number please"
This infuriated me because I had provided my order number 4 times up until this point and it was even written in my previous facebook message which was clearly visible. I escalated the dispute to a claim on Payapl, jumped through some hoops, provided more evidence, blah blah blah, and then today (30/10/12) Paypal finally refused my claim. I've waited one month and my claim has now been refused because Paypals buyer protection doesn't cover CD keys.
Intkeys have taken my money, wasted my time, trolled me to the extreme with their "communication" and there is nothing I can do about it.
I will never buy from them again, and I hope my mistake serves as a decent warning to others.
