I tried to buy a Guitar here in Spain but the Company (Euroguitar) would not accept my Mastercard and were not interested in solving the problem.
I then thought of Reidys in Blackburn. After all, I used to buy all my stuff there back in the 60's. I went on line, and found that my card would not work here either, so I phoned the shop and spoke to Jamie George in customer services, and was pleasantly surprised to find a person who was friendly and very helpful. Jamie tried to sort out the software problem and, when it still didn't work, he took my card details and the order over the phone. The same evening I got an E-Mail confirming the order, and another three days later confirming dispatch to me here in Spain. Today, 8 days later, my guitar and case arrived safely. It is a superb instrument and I am very satisfied with everything.
Jamie is a credit to Reidys and nothing is too much trouble for him.
The heading? Oh, the last time I bought a guitar was in 1967, a Harmony Sovereign which I still have, and I bought it at Reidys.
Wouldn't deal with anyone else now.
