What can I say about this company other than disgraceful. I ordered a wireless hd tv sender and this came no problems. And that's when it started!!!!!! I took it out of its box and set it up with my sky box and connected the other to my tv upstairs. The product did not work properly so I called up scan (I refer to them as scam) and I had a really sarcastic lady on the phone which I found to be very patronising. They said I could return the product via their courier but if they could not detect a fault once back at their warehouse then I would be charged for all sorts. I said ok ill return the product at my expense. But advised that I was only doing this because the item my not work due to the environment at my property I.e the wireless network may be interfering with the signal, I also advised this environment would probably be different once back at their warehouse therefore the fault may not be detected. Although the Edimax product claimed to bypass wireless signals automatically it did not!! , and it was for this reason that I was sending the product back. Under the trade descriptions act the product was not fit for the purpose it was intended for. So I carefully repackaged the product (in exactly the same condition it was delivered) and sent it back at my expense. I had received an email advising that my warranty had been rejected ,I thought that's odd as it was within the 28 day period. When I called I had another cocky sarcastic customer service rep who proceeded to tell me that due product was damaged and it was my fault and I will not be receiving a refund. They said they had pictures to prove this. As you can imagine I was not happy at all as the product had only been taken out of its packaging for a couple of hours ,put on a flat surface, plugged in and then repackaged. They claimed it had scratches and dents in it. I explained that it was wrapped in its original box and was bubble wrapped nd then wrapped in a waterproof liner before being sent back via recorded delivery so either it was sent in said condition or it was damaged at their end. They would not believe me and even a 40 min conversation with a returns manager they are NOT willing to refund me I will now be taking up the case with trading standards , not a happy bunny at all.!!!!!!! w
