I ordered an item that clearly showed it was in stock (a Christmas decoration - wouldn't have ordered if it had not been in stock, as this was around 3 weeks before Christmas). After a week of showing "Processing" as the order status, it suddenly changed to "Backordered". I emailed to check if I would receive the item on time for Christmas and was very condescendingly told to "just be patient", as they were getting more stock in the following week and I was told in no uncertain terms that I would receive my order by the end of the week. Two days later I received an email saying they had to cancel my order because they couldn't get any more stock. I emailed asking why I'd been lied to by customer services and was given the standard "thank you for your comments - your opinion is very important to us" response which didn't deal with my query at all. Won't be ordering from here ever again.
I ordered 50 business cards after a recommendation from a friend who has used MOO.com a LOT. The fact that I could have multiple designs for the same price is a SUPERB idea, and the online design tools worked perfectly. So I uploaded, ordered and waited for them to arrive. When they did arrive I was delighted. I'd previously (some time ago) ordered business cards from an over-advertising, over-priced (particularly for shipping), generally annoying competitor, and the cards arrived in a plain cardboard box. I expected the same from MOO. But they even exceeded my expectations for packaging, with them arriving in a cute little sturdy business card box that looks the business. The cards themselves look gorgeous and wonderful quality. I will most DEFINITELY be ordering again in the (hopefully) near future :-D
