We prebooked for the north terminal short term car park as we were only going for a week, and the convienience outweighed the small additional cost. We drove up to the entrance waited while the system recognised our registration number and printed the ticket with the booking reference. Parked and made the short jouney to the terminal.
On return, short journey back - down to the exit, ticket in the machine and away we went - could not have been easier.
The only comment was finding the "how to" on the web page - this was the entry and exit procedures - luckily i printed it off the one time i found it! - on the follow up email a few days before departure, this information could reduce a lot of queries. I have used this Gatwick pre booking many times before, and would recommend it.
Ordered the villaware coffee machine with the groupon voucher - as we were away for a few days waited to order when we returned. Sent within a few days, but got lost in the yobbo system - telephoned "discount emporium" after emails were not answered - a wonderful lady chased it up with the yobbos, and as soon as it became clear that it was "lost" sent out a replacement via parcelforce - this arrived the next day.
Would I use them again - probably - but I think their customer service dept (not sure there's more than one person) needs sizing to cater for the volume of calls when a groupon offer is live -- Also PLEASE STOP USING YOBBOS.
