On 1st Nov. I ordered online a filleting knife and received it next day with other items... all good quality.
The knife was too long. I wanted to exchange it for a smaller one, but there was no info. about this on the invoice or the website, other than an email address and a phone number to call.. When I rang next day (a Saturday morning), there was a message saying they were shut!
I tried again Monday, and was told they couldn't deal with it on the phone, I'd have to send an email, then I'd be given the information as to where to return the knife.
I emailed, and was told in reply to send it via a recorded service to: a centre in Gloucester, enclosing an explanation of why I was returning it and an authorisation code, which they gave me. It should be in the original packaging with a copy invoice with an explanation as to what I was returning and why... did they want TWO explanations?! The cost of return would not be refunded.
I was then required to email details of the Recorded Tracking number .
All this for a £10 Knife...talk about convoluted! I did as asked, and am still waiting for the refund, and have no intention of buying anything else from them.....
A newcomer to hens, I have taken on 8 ex bats. I bought 2 plastic feeders, a plastic water container, grit etc. from Regency, and am very pleased with them all. The 'Baden Powell' hats keep the feed dry, and they are easy to clean. The only problem was that the legs kept falling off, but I think that was because I hadn't pushed them in enough. A tip is that they are easier to do when they are wet!! The water container is excellent, simple to refill and very stable ensuring a continuous supply of water. The girls discovered how to use all their new equipment very easily. I recently also bought the self filling water cups, one of which I have now (with some help this time!) attached to an old plastic flask, and it means I can hang it inside the coop, in case the girls want a drink overnight. Because the colour is red, they took to it immediately.
All items were sent out promptly, and arrived safely, and none was overpriced. I shall definitiely go back to Regency for further supplies.
