Great sales, poor return policy

The online sale process was very smooth and my order was delivered quickly, however, the item did not fit me and I needed to return it. The returns process is also straightforward - you send the item back recorded post at your expense and you receive a refund. When Sigma's rivals are offering FREE return postage via Collect+ or refund of return postage up to £25 I find Sigma's policy antiquated, anti-online purchasing and poor for the customer. Returning a pair of bib tights cost me £2.20 2nd class recorded - I was thankful I'd bought my cycling shoes (which also did not fit) from a rival who offered free return.
I won't be buying any clothing from Sigma on-line whilst this policy is in place.
