COMPLAINT TO OKOBE
I ordered a Pixma Pro-1 on the 21st October. The printer was delivered late and damaged in transit. It took weeks for you to arrange collection, including promising a collection, having me take a day off work and wait in only to discover Parcel Force had never received the notice to pick up the printer.
Eventually it was collected, and it took more weeks for you to buy a new one and arrange to send it to me.
Again, it has been smashed up in transit. Parcel Force point to the inadequacy of your packaging. On both occasions the box has come with no protective outside packaging and no 'Fragile' markings.
I have had enough of this now - in particular the length of time you take to complete each step. It is completely unacceptable that it is nearly 8 weeks since I paid you for the printer and I'm yet to receive one in usable condition.
I now expect the unit to be collected ASAP - by midweek at the latest. I don't care if Parcel Force are busy at this time of year, use a special courier instead to get this sorted and absorb the cost. The fact you don't carry the stock is also not an acceptable excuse. On this occasion you should get another unit ordered NOW so that it can be replaced immediately.
I paid £630 for this printer and it's pretty reasonable to expect a decent level of service - and I know you would expect better than this when you buy things yourself.
If this isn't sorted and replaced this week I will be going to Natwest and Trading Standards to report you and get my money recovered from your bank account.

I chose Okobe.co.uk based on their excellent prices for a Canon PIXMA Pro-1 inkjet printer, at £625 the best price I could find.
Ordered on 21st October, with 2 - 4 days delivery. Received a confirmation email straight away, but I called them evening of Friday 26th as I'd heard nothing more. Shortly after this I received an email saying the product had been dispatched and it arrived Saturday (though I missed it and had to collect from depot on Monday).
The product was simply shipped in its manufacturers box, no extra packaging to protect it, and it has been damaged in transit - 4 smashed ink cartridges. Canon recommend strongly I return it due to the possibility of internal damage to the printer.
I've called and emailed to get it replaced but had very limited response so far, and I've had no contact from them for 2 days now. This is absolutely unacceptable, even more so given the value of the printer.
Okobe.co.uk use a separate company to answer their phones (and possibly emails), which is fine, but the people there take your name and number and say someone will call you back - but I've made around 5 calls and no one has ever called me back.
I simply don't know what to do now.
