Okay, so this was partly my fault for not noticing but as I order a lot of stuff online just used to having to pay outbound postage but returns being free - ordered several pairs of trainers to try as they didn't have any in store in my size and shop staff helpfully pointed me in direction of online shop. Great, all came pretty quickly - but then I come to return the ones I don't want and there it is on the returns instructions "returns are at the cost of the customer" - so I went online to see if I could drop the returns into the local branch, well no mention one way or another (and still waiting for customer services to respond to my email!) but it does state that "original postage costs will be refunded if ALL items are returned but if you only return SOME of the items it won't - so now I'm having to send all the items back, even though I WANTED to keep a pair of trainers because otherwise not only will I have been stung for the return postage but I won't get my original £5.99 postage back - mad or what?!? Anyway, back its all going and I shall never buy from them, shop or online, again!
Had no complaints with Handepay/merchant rentals (supposedly 2 different companies? only when it suits them!) initially. Needed card payments facilities quickly and they sent a rep round who filled out all the paperwork and explained it was a 3 year contract - no probs there as understood that's what I was taking on. so, 3 and a half years into the contract had just had my baby and hadn't been using the card terminal for something like 10 months so decided that as we'd done the 3 years I'd get rid as it was a lot of money (£32 p.mth) when I didn't have any income anymore. Merchant rentals then tell me I had to have given 12 months notice, exactly 12 months prior to the 36 months expiring otherwise you automatically roll over into a further 2 year contract - following it? no I didn't either! I was expecting something like a 3 month notice period but not a 2 YEAR one!!! Apparently everything is in the contract (if you know where to find it!) and ever after trading standards got involved - grey areas around it being a CCA agreement and standard rental periods normally being restricted to 18 months with 3 months notice - they wouldn't budge. Upshot? either pay £550 to get out of the contract or carrying on with monthly payments - You can bet I made sure I'd given them notice and had confirmation of said then paid monthly as I simply didn't have that kind of money so £32 a month out of my very limited income for a year and a half - wonder if the company owners ever have sleepless nights wondering whether they can meet their bills this month - nope thought not! As an aside if you're after really great card facilities without studid-silly tie-in contracts check out elevon who I use now I'm back to work!
okay, so I was a little dubious when I found this company did "reconditioned" toners for my printer but as the set was saving me well of £50 I had to give them a go! Toners arrived promptly and well packaged. Have used the first one and not a single issue with it - haven't run through its life yet so can't say whether it will actually last as long as the original but there's nothing to suggest it won't - 5*'s for them then and I shall be getting all of my toners from here in future. One small criticism is that the website suggests they do a free returns service to recycle the old cartridges except a quick search and the address for this isn't immediately obvious meaning that I'll need to contact them to get it and as I'm super-busy right now it'll have to wait!
I've ordered my bags from Carrier Bag shop for several years now and being a savvy buyer I always shop around but I've NEVER yet found another supplier with prices as competitive plus the items have always been in stock and arrived the next day - highly recommended supplier!
Ordered late as I was asked to make some cupcakes for halloween at short notice - found this company and ordered a range of items which were delivered really quickly and were all of a very high quality! Would highly recommend them and have book marked them for future reference!
