I ordered something important for health for Saturday delivery - even paid extra for the delivery. The item did not arrive in promised time (hasn't arrived yet) - neither was there a message from Argos about the delay. It was something I needed urgently.
This is a company I can't trust. I've never had such issues with amazon deliveries.
And then I found something crazy on Argos site:
3.3 Risk of loss and damage of products passes to you on the date when the products are delivered or on the date of first attempted delivery by us.
Can you believe this? If they try a delivery and you're not at home, the risk of the item being broken passes to you! And you've not even received the item yet.
