Im in the armed forces and as things change hourly with the military i needed to change my ferry to the day earlier, expecting to pay a little extra for the trouble but no. I wasnt allowed to. If i wanted a diffetent day i had to rebook another ticket. I went directly to dfds as it was cheaper. On the way back i had to add a passenger which i was charged for!! There is NO charge to add a passenger with dfds due to the fact that the cost of the ferry is on the car not the amount of passengers it holds. This made me sick! Will not ever be using this company again and will advise others no to also

Thank you for your review, and we are sorry to hear of your experience with us. Having looked at your booking I can see that a 72 hour fare was booked, and to travel out a day earlier would exceed this time period leaving us unable to amend the booking. These guidelines were given to us by DFDS Seaways and this would have been made very clear when you made your booking.

We charge fees for amendments, and this is made clear in our terms and conditions. As a gesture of good will, our customer service advisor lowered this fee to £10 for you when there was no obligation to do so.
