Payment mess up

I orderd a kebab from a place before, everything was perfect, i paid in cash and it got delivered at the time they said and all that, but a few months later (a few days ago) i ordered and payed online with my card... and the delivery guy and i had a 20 minute argument over the fact i had paid... after FINALLY agreeing to phone his boss, he realised that he had made a mistake and apologised... but my food was then cold!
ill still use it again, ill just be paying cash next time :)

Hello Liam,

I am sorry to hear that the delivery driver was mistaken about your order. Once your order has been accepted, the takeaway will receive a receipt through their JUST EAT machine indicating the method of payment that has been used. In your case the receipt would have shown that you have pre paid by card. It is unfortunate that the driver was not aware of this at the time of delivery. We do advise the takeaways to throughly check their receipts before they deliver to avoid any confusion.
