I placed an order through Marisota and paid express delivery for a next day service. That was 2 weeks ago! There have apparently been several attempts to deliver the parcel, so I am told. There is no evidence of this! I have had to reorder the item THREE TIMES!! No delivery cards have been left! They state they left the parcel in a shed. A random shed somewhere in the neighbourhood, but not mine! Satnav takes a person to my doorstep. A small child can find our house. So clearly Hermes is staffed with people who do not have the slightest talent for finding a clear and easy address, and worse, they really are not interested in finding a parcel worth nearly £300 that they have left in a shed somewhere. When I FINALLY managed to find a phone number and get through to them I spoke to a very arrogant, discourteous and dismissive person called Liga who declared that they really are not interested in talking to me and it really is not their problem and I should be speaking to my supplier due to the contract they hold with them. When I pointed out that they are failing to adhere to the contract which is to deliver parcels which they are obviously not capable of doing, so why should I respect that same contract, she could not answer and only stated that they are not able to talk to me. It seems to me that Hermes, whatever their business model, is falsely advertising that they are a courier service where they are clearly just a bunch of incompetents clubbing together to frustrate, distress and rip off any person unfortunate enough to try and use their service.
