I live in the UK. I ordered an android tablet (Asus Transformer Infinity with keyboard dock) on the 9th September. It arrived on 2nd October! Turns out it came from Hong Kong!! No-where on the site did it say it was coming from abroad.
Upon arrival the item was faulty, it wouldn't turn on. Very disappointed to say the least. I promptly sent the item back. Simply Electronics received on the 4th October (recorded delivery). Over 1 month later I still have no refund!!! I've called customer services twice (if you can call them that) to be told, your refund has been processed. I called 2 weeks ago and was told i'd have it by 1st November....nope. Called again on 2nd November to be told I'd have it by today....What do I get today? An email to say my refund has been processed and it may take up to 10 days!! Very angry! Also turns out that the customer service dept is also based in Hong Kong.
I asked to speak to the manager on my last call to "simply" be told, that is not possible so I asked for the manager to call me back - this has also yet to happen. I can't say I'm surprised!
I will never do business with this company again and would urge people to think twice about using them.
Yes, their prices are cheap, but I'd rather pay a bit more, get a good experience and some support if products are faulty.
