I guess people are more likely to write reviews when there have been problems, and this one is a case in point. Initially the consignment was given an incorrect shipping address. This was notified to the suppliers who say they contacted DPD immediately about 36 hours before delivery was due. Despite this the wrong address remained and delivery had to be stopped at the last moment. This resulted in the delivery going back to a hub and being held despite the correct address having been provided. DPD had to be contacted again to get the delivery moving after a further two days of inactivity. When delivery eventually did take place several days late it was left at the incorrect address almost a mile away from the destination. The postcode was different as was the street name (though easily confused with the only difference being the word 'west'). It was signed for by builders and left outside in the rain! Lucky that the owner of the property was able to find a phone number from the consignee name.
