I stayed in specially this morning as I was expecting a delivery but when I went to collect my post I found a card from DPD stating that they’d attempted to deliver a parcel earlier this morning and no one was present to sign for it; however, I was in my sitting room at the stated time and no one had rung my doorbell or knocked at the door!. How can DPD expect to get someone to sign for a parcel if they don’t ring the doorbell or knock at the door! I’ve-re-arranged for the parcel to be left tomorrow – as I can’t stay in again – I hope they manage to do it right. I'll be recommending to the eBay seller that they use a more reliable company in future.
I've looked at other complaints about DPD it seems that their drivers are under such pressure to meet delivery times that it's quicker for them to leave a card than knock at the door!

I'm very sorry that your parcel was delayed by a day. I see that the parcel was delivered first thing this morning, was everything okay? If you wish to discuss this in more detail, please email socialmedia@dpd.co.uk
Kind regards,
Bobby.
