A replacement shower control knob was ordered using the useful website but for a part costing less than £10 , ordered by a first-time customer, my expectations were low.
When it was delivered next day I thought I must have been lucky to order at just the right time. Unforunately, I discovered I'd ordered the wrong knob and telephoned them to see if it could be sorted out. It was no problem at all for the helpful man on the phone (unusually these days, a real person) who ensured the correct part was ordered and asked for the first one to be returned. Although it was my error and the correct part cost a little more, he happily accepted what had been already paid.
Going on past experience with other suppliers, I expected to be charged for the second item with additional postage and have to wait hopefully for an eventual refund when the wrong item had been returned.
No such drama with Shower Doctor, the item was received the next day, before I'd even posted the return.
Recently, when the same knob was broken due to rough handling by persons unknown, because it definitely wasn't any family member who had tried to force it past the off position as before(ahem), I had no hesitation in ordering another.
I phoned at around 4pm and it was, once again, received in the next days post, less than 24 hours later.
Helpful, friendly, efficient, responsive, trustworthy ... etc. etc., I could go on.
If only others could learn from and reach anything like the standard set by this business, they might achieve the same deserved success and customer loyalty that I'm very happy to promote.
