What no stock!

Did you know that Edge & Wax advertise snowshoes on their website showing stock that they do not have available! Even when they own up that they cannot deliver the ordered goods (which they say are now no longer manufactured) they then advertise the very same item in their 'sale' on-line.
You do not get many companies delivering such a poor level of service.
What a shower!
PS They did give me full refund, which is one small redeeming factor.

Hello David, I am sorry you felt you had to write this, and sorry we let you down. I have sunk my life's savings into stock, so can assure you that we DO have stock. What we also have is an integration module linked to our supplier warehouses, as one is just 100 meters away. What this does, is when we sell out of an item, until we replenish it will advise the stock is "available from warehouse in 2-3 days" which is what your product said when ordered. Unfortunately we then found the warehouse had a stock error so we could not fulfill your order, so we IMMEDIATELY refunded it and apologised for the inconvenience. So although we failed, I think to state we give such a poor level of service when we immediately contacted you upon discovering this issue is a little unfair, but your choice of course.We removed the item from sale department (we did not advertise it, I do the printed advertising and have not promoted snow shoes ever?) which takes around 4 hours. So I am sorry that we could not fulfill your order, but as someone who has sleepless nights about how much stock I have to pay for, I can assure you we DO have stock, quite a lot! And our other feedback confirms that although we could not make you happy, this is a one-off rather than the norm for my ski shop. Many thanks. Scott Hargrave, Managing Director.
