I ordered a guitar amplifier from Cashconverters. When it was arrived it was very poorly packaged - just a single thin layer of bubble wrap taped to the sides. On turning the amplifier on it was clearly faulty with a very loud crackling. I isolated the fault to the reverb board and reported it to cash converters who agreed to refund me the cost of getting it repaired. So, while I was very unimpressed with the careless way the item was packaged and shipped, I was impressed with the spped with which they resolved the problem. In case it is relevant, the item was dispatched from the Stoke-on-Trent branch.
This is truly an excellent shop. The staff are friendly and helpful and will do their best to help you find the right purchase. Their prices are competitive with the online prices. You don't come out feeling hassled or ripped off, but rather that you've had a great buying experience and have come away paying a fair price for a quality instrument. I really cannot recommend this shop highly enough. They offer a lifetime guarantee on their instruments as well. Do yourself a favour and support a high street music shop rather than buying online - it's worth it for the service alone.
