Age partnership made a complicated process easy and understandable

I wouldn't have bothered using the open market option because it all sounded too complicated. I just thought it would be much easier to leave the fund where it was and let the existing company provide the annuity. My wife persuaded me to look at the open market option to try and get as much pension as possible but it seemed just a massive task until we found the Age Partnership web site. The quotation we received was easily understandable and the process for setting up the pension easy. We were warned it could take 6 to 8 weeks to set up but was in fact all completed in 3 weeks. This was also due to the efficiency of our existing pension company HSBC Life. I particularly liked how the age partnership advisor could instantly vary the quotation over the phone to give me the effect of varying the options.
